2.IDC 2013 — 7th International Symposium on Intelligent Distributed Computing
 Dates 04 Sep 2013 → 06 Sep 2013
[ID=533286] Go to top of page
 LocationPrague, Czech Republic
Abstract The emergent field of Intelligent Distributed Computing focuses on the development of a new generation of intelligent distributed systems. It faces the challenges of adapting and combining research in the fields of Intelligent Computing and Distributed Computing. Intelligent Computing develops methods and technology ranging from classical artificial intelligence, computational intelligence and multi-agent systems to game theory. The field of Distributed Computing develops methods and technology to build systems that are composed of collaborating components. The symposium welcomes submissions of original papers on all aspects of intelligent distributed computing ranging from concepts and theoretical developments to advanced technologies and innovative applications.
Topics Intelligent Distributed and High-Performance Architectures, Organization and Management, Intelligent Distributed Knowledge Representation and Processing, Networked Intelligence, Intelligent Distributed Applications

3.CPS 2013 — Special Session on Cooperative Problem Solving (CPS 2013) at 5th International Conference on Computational Collective Intelligence - Technologies and Applications (ICCCI 2013)
 Dates 11 Sep 2013 → 13 Sep 2013
[ID=542410] Go to top of page
 LocationCraiova, Romania
Abstract The aim of the special session on Cooperative Problem Solving is to bring together researchers interested in various problem solving techniques based on collective computational intelligence to share their experience, present current research results and discuss advanced techniques. Topics of submitted papers should focus on methods and applications where the tools and techniques exploiting collective computational intelligence are used to enhance, support or replace traditional approaches to solving optimization problems. In particular, we encourage papers reporting on the real-life applications of the cooperative problem solving.
Topics Cooperative problem solving; agent-based optimization, cooperative strategies, multi-agent systems; nature-inspired algorithm
