11 Jul 2011 → 22 Jul 2011; Melbourne, Victoria, Australia

abstract: This meeting will bring together leading researchers working on a broad range of problems in the field of Geometry & Topology. We have three lecture series aimed at students and early career researchers during the first week, 11-15 July. These short courses will be given by Danny Calegari, Walter Neumann and Leonid Polterovich. In the second week, 18-22 July, we hold a conference featuring research talks. Conference participants are encouraged to arrive during the end of the first week. An excursion to the wine country is planned for Saturday 16 July, and facilities for informal discussion or collaboration will be available throughout the weekend prior to the conference. The conference will close with a banquet on Friday, 22 July. At most Australian universities, semester starts on Monday, 25 July.
