Abstract The organizing committee for Magnetic North III (www.magnetic-north.ca) would like to bring to your attention the upcoming workshop ?Magnetism at Surfaces and Interfaces?. The workshop will be held in Banff, Alberta, Canada over a three day period (June 8 to 10, 2012). The workshop is intended to cover topical work including research centred on complex oxides, exchange bias and magnetic tunnel junctions. Experimental research will see an emphasis on x-ray and neutron based scattering techniques, spin transfer techniques and imaging techniques, while the theoretical focus will be on numerical and computational (e.g. LLG and Monte Carlo) techniques.
Topics complex oxides, exchange bias, magnetic tunnel junctions, x-ray and neutron based scattering techniques, spin transfer techniques, imaging techniques, LLG, Monte Carlo
