	abstract: For the first time, MSB is going to the People's Republic of China. The 24th International Symposium on MicroScale Bioseparations (MSB) is being organized by the Dalian Institute of Chemical Physics and will be held in Dalian, China, October 18-22, 2009. Attendees from industrial and government research institutions and academia are invited to participate in the scientific program, which will include keynote lectures, invited and contributed oral presentations in parallel tracks and poster sessions. In addition, an international exhibition by commercial vendors, short courses and workshops on special topics of interest will be included in this exciting forum for scientific exchange.
