Abstract	The industry forums Laser Optics Berlin and microsys Berlin will be taking place under one roof. This will be the first business platform among German trade fairs to mirror the products and services of both the optical technology and microsystem technology industries. The International Congress will consist of three individual conferences focusing on current areas of research in optics and optical technology: high-intensity lasers and high-field phenomena, questions concerning the processing of quantum information, and the ultrafast dynamics of molecular and crystalline structures.

Abstract	In der Veranstaltungsreihe werden anwendungsorientierte Grundlagen der Mikrosystemtechnik bis hin zur Nanotechnik dargestellt. Schwerpunkte bilden u.a. Technologien der Si-Technologie, der unterschiedlichen Dünnschicht-Abscheidungsmöglichkeiten sowie der Strukturierung im Mikro- und Nanometerbereich vor allem auf der Basis lithografischer Verfahren. Auf 3D-Struktuierungsmööglichkeiten wird ebenfalls eingegangen. Interessante Anwendungsbeispiele begleiten die einzelnen Themen.
