Abstract:

More than 150 European nuclear reactors have reached a 40-year lifespan and will be decommissioned in the near future. Throughout the last 10 years, ICOND has developed to become the most important European conference for nuclear decommissioning und waste management. Nuclear power plant operators meet with experts from around the world to discuss challenges and solutions for the decommissioning of nuclear facilities, as well as clearance and disposal of radioactive waste. Renowned lecturers give insights into new technologies and best-practice of current projects while the accompanying exhibition presents products and services related to decommissioning.
