	abstract: The market for renewable energy is heavily influenced by national and European energy policy. At the end of 2008, a political agreement is expected on the new directive for renewable energy. Details of this political agreement will follow in the beginning of 2009. After the success of REXchange 2008, which attracted more than 170 participants, we are pleased to introduce you to REXchange 2009.
