4.go to top of page[ID=179265]Nanotechnology in Medicine and Biotechnology
30 Sep 2008; London, United Kingdom

abstract: Nanotechnology is a new exciting field of study that has the potential to revolutionise the way that medical and healthcare solutions are developed and delivered.

This seminar will demonstrate the impact that nanotechnology has in the advance of medicine and bio-sensing techniques and discuss how to progress this area to meet the future needs. Drawing together key workers from industry, academia and clinical practice, this event will work as a catalyst to inspire people to learn about nanotechnology and to develop research and commercial ideas of nanotechnology in medical applications.

05 Nov 2008 → 06 Nov 2008; Teddington, United Kingdom

abstract: This two-day meeting will focus upon advances in the analysis of biological materials under ambient conditions, through such methods as scanning probe microscopy and emerging mass spectrometry, and the interaction of biological systems with surfaces and nanoparticles. The highly successful NMAET series concentrates on in-depth, frontier issues in surface and nano-analysis and this year's meeting will be held in conjunction with the 10th SSBII meeting. Both NMAET and SSBII attract world-leading scientists from industry and academia, and this meeting will enable a lively and engaging discussion on the frontier issues in biomolecular surface analysis.
