However, breakthrough discoveries in other species are included where they lead to important systems principles, research strategies, analytical paradigms, and high throughput phenotyping methods. Invited speakers were selected to highlight breakthroughs and opportunities at the interface between systems and molecular research as well as between analytical and empirical approaches.
