| abstract: Water is essential for human health as it is closely linked with our body. However, data from UNICEF has shown more than 2.6 billion which is forty percent of the world’s population experience lack of basic sanitation facilities and safe drinking water sources. These situation have resulted illness and deaths of children caused by diarrhea and other sanitation-related disease. Not only is health related disease attacking children, but also lack of education. Children, in particular girls are too busy fetching water which discourage them of good education. In advance, poor people will encounter lack of productivity which in advance cause national economic suffers. It is vital then to improve water supplies and sanitation facilities in communities, and to promote safe hygiene practices as well. |
