Abstract	The conference will cover all aspects of the biology of all cnidarians and ctenophores, including those occurring in pelagic, deep sea and freshwater habitats. Sessions will be devoted to topics ranging from cellular biology, genetics and development, to reproduction, physiology, symbiosis, systematics and evolution, behavior, ecology and environmental impacts, toxicity and medical applications. Current and possible future developments in the field will be explored.
