1.IX EWDD — Ninth European Workshop in Drug Design

Abstract	The Ninth European Workshop in Drug Design will allow maximum 65 participating scientists to work closely with more than 20 leading researchers from both drug industry and academic institutions in exploring solutions to concrete problems encountered in the drug design and discovery process. Like in the previous editions the goal of the Workshop is to help participants to collect, interpret and use experimental data to design new drugs using new methods of molecular modeling in conjunction with synthetic feasibility concepts and metabolic pathways. Interaction of these studies with strategies adopted in the Pharmaceutical Industries, such as high-throughput screening, will be explored.

2.20th Intermediate Workshop on PK/PD Data Analysis: A four-day Course Using WinNonlin

Abstract	This intermediate level workshop provides an interface between the numerical analysis of PK and PD data and physiological concepts. Based on the background and concepts provided by the course lecturers, participants will apply this information to the appropriate modelling package (WinNonlin) in hands-on exercises.
