Abstract	Recent studies clearly indicate that contact with an animal, as well as ensuring the replacement of missing or badly affected, it is particularly suited to promote inter-personal contacts offering food for conversation, laughter and play, the opportunity, that is, interact with others through the animal itself. The animal may act as a cushion under the particular conditions of stress and conflict and can be a valuable aid for patients with problems of social behaviour and communication, especially if children or elderly, but also for those who suffer from some form of disability and mental retardation and psychiatric patients. Educational Objectives of the Forum : Improve the knowledge of the use of AAA & PAT activity , discuss on ethical aspects, indications, results and complications of consolidated and new therapies
