 LocationAmsterdam, Netherlands
Abstract Cellular functions and behavior depend critically on their mechanical properties. Furthermore, their ability to sense and respond to environmental mechanical signals has dramatic effects on many cell decisions including cell fate and cell death. This meeting brings together a rapidly growing field of interdisciplinary science that focuses experimentally as well as theoretically on diverse aspects of cell mechanics.
Topics Cell mechanics, cell migration, cell adhesion, tissue development, tissue engineering, cytoskeletal mechanics, theoretical modelling, mechano-responsiveness, growth of cells
