| 2.44th Annual Meeting of the German Society of Medical Physics (DGMP) 2013 | | Dates | 18 Sep 2013 → 21 Sep 2013 | [ID=528814] | | Location | Cologne, Germany | | Topics | Radiotherapy/Radiation Therapy, Radiology, Therapeutic Methods, (biomedical) imaging / measurement techniques and signal processing, audiology, nuclear medicine, dosimetry, stereotaxy, hybrid systems, medical optics, X-ray diagnostics, lasers | | Weblink | http://www.dgmp-kongress.de | | Related subject(s) | Applied Physics: Biophysics, Medical Physics and Healthcare Technologies |
| 3.NSSMICRTSDIEEE — 2013 IEEE Nuclear Science Symposium and Medical Imaging Conference | | Dates | 26 Oct 2013 → 02 Nov 2013 | [ID=537478] | | Location | Convention Center Coex, Seoul, South Korea | | Abstract | The Nuclear Science Symposium (NSS) offers an outstanding opportunity for scientists and engineers interested or actively working in the fields of nuclear science, radiation instrumentation, software and their applications, to meet and discuss with colleagues from around the world. The program emphasizes the latest developments in technology and instrumentation and their implementation in experiments for space sciences, accelerators, other radiation environments, and homeland security. The Medical Imaging Conference (MIC) is the foremost international scientific meeting on the physics, engineering and mathematical aspects of nuclear medicine based imaging. As the field develops, multi-modality approaches are becoming more and more important. The content of the MIC reflects this, with a growing emphasis on the methodologies of X-ray, optical and MR imaging as they relate to nuclear imaging techniques. In addition, specialized topics will be addressed in the Short Courses and Workshops programs. The Workshop on Room-Temperature Semiconductor Detectors (RTSD) represents the largest forum of scientists and engineers developing new semiconductor radiation detectors and imaging arrays. Room-temperature solid-state radiation detectors for X-ray, gamma-ray, and neutron radiation are finding increasing applications in such diverse fields as medicine, homeland security, astrophysics and environmental remediation. The objective of this workshop is to provide a forum for discussion of the state of the art of material development for semiconductor, scintillator, and organic materials for detection, materials characterization, device fabrication and technology, electronics and applications. Devoted topical short courses are also provided suitable for students and junior scientists. | | Topics | Radiation imaging, Biomedical imaging, Radiation detectors and instrumentation, Radiation detection techniques, Nuclear and High Energy Physics , Space, Solid State. Bio-Physics, Homeland Security, Medical Imaging Systems, Medical Imaging Technologies, Data acquisition, Signal processing, Accelerator technologies, Beam instrumentation, Image reconstruction methods, Emission Tomography Instrumentation, Imaging in Radiotherapy, PET, SPECT, CT, MR, Optical, Multi-modality, New detector materials/technologies, Semiconductor materials for radiation detection Radiation damage | | Weblink | http://www.nss-mic.org/2013 | | Contact | Hee-Joung Kim [General Chair], Yonsei University, Korea; Phone: [+82-33-760-2401]; Email: nssmic2013@yonsei.ac.kr | | Related subject(s) | Applied Physics: Biophysics, Medical Physics and Healthcare Technologies; Radiology (in general) | | | | | 4.ANZSNM 2014 — 44th Annual Scientific Meeting of the Australian and New Zealand Society of Nuclear Medicine | | Dates | 25 Apr 2014 → 28 Apr 2014 | [ID=549471] | | Location | Adelaide, Australia | | Abstract | The theme of the meeting is “A Fusion of Ideas, Modalities, and Disciplines”, with an exciting program emphasising the place of Nuclear Medicine in the multi-disciplinary practice of medicine. Renowned international speakers from Europe and USA, including Professor Sam Gambhir, Professor Wim Oyen, Associate Professor Clemens Decristoforo and Professor Jamshid Maddahi, have agreed to speak at the conference, in addition to local and interstate experts both in Nuclear Medicine and associated fields such as Oncology and Surgery. | | Topics | Cardiology/Respiratory, Molecular Imaging, ?
