| abstract: The International Nathiagali Summer College (INSC) has been held in Nathiagali and/or Islamabad, Pakistan, since its inception in 1976. The idea of organizing a college on regular basis came from distinguished Nobel Laureate, Professor Abdus Salam who suggested in 1974 that an international forum for scientists from developing countries be organized to encourage greater communication and flow of ideas among them. This year the activity 2 of the INSC aims at scientific computing and Mathematical Modeling. The faculty comprising of 6-8 distinguished Scientists drawn from universities, research centers and industries of advanced countries would give lectures on different aspects of scientific computing and Mathematical Modeling including application of computing to different areas of science. The audience would consist of scientists from local institutes and selected from developing countries. The selected faculty and participants would be provided with air ticket, accommodation, food, hospitality by the organizers of the INSC. |
