abstract: The special track dedicated to Human-Computer Interaction offers to scientists and practitioners in the area of Multimedia a forum to discuss the challenges for effective interaction with such novel multimedia solutions. We are interested in gathering papers regarding multimedia applications and systems that contribute to the body of knowledge regarding interaction with multimodal technologies. In particular, we are interested in works describing multimodal solutions developed according to the user-centered design process and describing user studies regarding the evaluation of various multimedia solutions. We are also interested in methodological works that address the topics of user-centered design for multimodal solutions. Therefore, authors are invited to submit full and short papers presenting new research related to the theory and/or practice of Human-Computer Interaction regarding multimedia applications and multimodal interaction.
