 Abstract The theme of the 2012 Singapore Radiological Society (SRS) Annual Scientific Meeting (ASM) on the 11th and 12th of February will be "Breast and Thoracic Imaging: Where do we go from here?" With advances in technology, come earlier and more accurate detection, diagnosis and treatment. Has this made life simpler or more difficult for us? Come and join us for the latest updates and stimulating discussions in breast and thoracic imaging.

In addition, there will be a refresher course running parallel to the main conference. Radiographers, therapists and nurses will also have focused tracks run specially for them. A special one day symposium on Stereotactic Lung Radiotherapy for radiation oncologists will also be incorporated into the ASM.

 Abstract The 1st Asia - Pacific Breast Cancer Summit will be held in association with the 4th Singapore Society of Oncology & Chapter of Medical Oncologists Review Course; to be held at the Grand Hyatt Singapore, February 11 ? 12, 2012. With the optimal management of breast cancer rapidly evolving, a multidisciplinary team of medical, surgical and radiation oncologists, pathologists, and plastic surgeons are routinely involved in offering treatment recommendations for individual patients with a diagnosis of breast cancer. With our panel of internationally renowned scholars as well as prominent loco-regional experts, this two day summit is designed to highlight the multi-disciplinary management of breast cancer integrating both the practical and latest state of the art treatment paradigms through plenary lectures, core presentations, and case-based panel discussions. The meeting will be of interest to medical, radiation and surgical oncologists, as well as basic scientists, pathologists, family physicians and nurses and pharmacists. Attendees can expect to be equipped with the most up to date research from ASCO, ECCO and the San Antonio Breast Cancer Symposium and an understanding of how the data applies to their patients now and potentially for the future.
