Conferences and Meetings on Solid-state Chemistry

Conference-Service.com offers, as part of our business activities, a directory of upcoming scientific and technical meetings. The calendar is published for the convenience of conference participants and we strive to support conference organisers who need to publish their upcoming events. Although great care is being taken to ensure the correctness of all entries, we cannot accept any liability that may arise from the presence, absence or incorrectness of any particular information on this website. Always check with the meeting organizer before making arrangements to participate in an event!

Meeting organizers can submit meetings free of charge for inclusion into the listing.

01 Dec 2008 → 04 Dec 2008; Jamshedpur, India

abstract: VI International Conference on Mechanochemistry and Mechanical Alloying (INCOME2008) will be held at Jamshedpur, India, during December 1-4, 2008, under the aegis of International Mechanochemistry Association (IMA) (an affiliate member of IUPAC). The first conference in the series INCOME1993 was held in Koásice (Slovakia) and this was followed by INCOME1997 in Novosibirsk (Russia), INCOME2000 in Prague (Czech Republic); INCOME2003, in Braunschweig (Germany), and INCOME2006 again in Novosibirsk. It is for the first time that the conference is being organised in Asia. The conference aims to provide a forum for presentation of new results, identification of current Research & Development (R & D) trends, and future directions, and promote interactions among various stakeholders dealing with all aspects of the discipline.

topics: Mechanochemistry, Mechanical Alloying, Mechanosynthesis, Reaction milling, Nanomaterials, Nanocomposites, Severe plastic deformation, Friction stirred welding, Advanced ceramic processing, Extractive metallurgy, Pharmaceutical and drugs synthesis, Mechanochemistry of macromolecules, Ecologically safe technologies, CO2 reduction/sequestation, Novel building materials, Geopolymers
