Sirva de nuevo esta oportunidad para estrechar lazos de amistad y realizar intercambios científicos entre países hermanos, y para establecer una tradición en Latinoamérica alrededor del importante campo de la Química de Coordinación y Organometálica. Sean todos bienvenidos a esta reunión en la que se discutirán aspectos sintéticos, mecanísticos y estructurales, así como las aplicaciones de los compuestos organometálicos y de coordinación en catálisis y bioinorgánica. En esta oportunidad, el punto de encuentro es la ciudad de Maracaibo, capital del Estado Zulia e importante centro de desarrollo industrial, petrolero y petroquímico.
