Zusammenfassung
The main goal of this event is get together experimentalists, observers and modelers interested to contribute to the progress of the knowledge in

astrochemistry. Additionally, during the symposium, we will have two hands-on workshops: One focused in experimental astrochemistry and other focused on observations. The hands-on workshops will have activities on the proposal submissions to the LNLS (Brazilian Synchrotron Light Laboratory) laboratory, data reduction and to LLAMA (Large Latin American Millimeter Array) and ALMA (Atacama Large Millimeter Array) radio observatories. During this meeting we will also have an opportunity to follow a real astrochemical experiment (in real time) at one of the beamlines of the LNLS that simulates the interaction between UV and soft X-rays with

astrophysical ice analogs.

Zusammenfassung
Our understanding of the origin of the Universe, of its evolution and the physical laws that govern its behavior, as well as on the different states of matter that make up its evolutionary stage, reached in recent years levels never before imagined. This is due mainly to the new and recent discoveries in astronomy and relativistic astrophysics as well as to experiments on particle and nuclear physics that made the traditional boundaries of knowledge on physics to be overcome. As a result we have presently a new understanding about the Universe in its two extreme domains, the very large and the very small: the recognition of the deep connections that exist between quarks and the cosmos. Based on the understanding of the intimate relationship between quarks and cosmos, the IWARA meetings is focused on topics that connect these two extreme physical domains.

Zusammenfassung
The activity of stars such as the Sun modulates the environment within their astrospheres. This variable forcing is mediated via stellar magnetic fields, radiative and energetic particulate flux, stellar winds and magnetic storms. In turn this influences planetary atmospheres, climate and habitability. Studies of this intimate relationship between the parent star, its astrophere and the planets that it hosts have reached a certain level of maturity within our own solar system – fueled both by advances in theoretical modelling and a host of satellites that observe the Sun-Earth system. Based on this understanding the first attempts are being made to understand Star-Planet interactions and their coupled evolution, which have relevance for habitability and the search for habitable planets in other stellar environments.
