Zusammenfassung: Our list of speakers has world famous experts and influential statesmen of both nations. In addition to the technical area, can further scientists, journalists and politicians involved in basic sciences, participate this event. The number of free participants is strictly limited to 60. Priority have DAAD-fellows and Egyptian State-fellows, who studied/worked in Germany.

Zusammenfassung: The interdisciplinary studies on complex systems have gained extensive research interests. Significant impacts have been made by such studies on a wide range of different areas including physics, biology, economics and social sciences, etc. While changing the way we view the world, studies on complex systems are also penetrating their influences into various engineering applications. In the long term, the way we understand and cope with the world may all be revolutionized. This conference aims to provide a unique and convenient platform for people working on theory and applications of complex systems to exchange their ideas and their latest research results. Zusammenfassung: The Hungarian National IUHPS Committee is pleased to invite youto attend and take an active part in the XXIII International Congress of History of Science in Budapest between 26 and 31 July 2009.

The XXIII International Congress of History of Science will be supported by the Hungarian Government, the Hungarian Academy of Sciences, the Budapest City Council, the Federation of Technical and Scientific Societes and other local institutions and organisations.
