Zusammenfassung: This symposium will review the experiences of the regulator, the industry and the end-user, as well as active QPs from pharmaceutical companies and an IMP outsource provider engaged in the provision of clinical supplies under the requirements of the CTD.

Zusammenfassung: The emergence of easy world travel has meant that the travel health field is growing and front-line health professionals need to be ready for this. This one-day conference will equip delegates with the skills to provide up-to-date travel health advice to the public. It aims to:

• Introduce delegates to education and training initiatives in travel medicine.
• Equip delegates with an understanding of the need for risk assessment and use of appropriate resources in the Travel Health Consultation.
• Allow delegates to hear expert opinion on complex issues in travel medicine.
• Enable delegates to discuss best practice in administration of POMs in the travel consultation.
• Inform delegates on new developments within this area.

Zusammenfassung: Image-guided ablation (IGA) has evolved considerably in the last decade into a practical tool for the management of smaller, discrete tumours in many organ systems. The appropriate and effective use of these devices requires an understanding of case selection, image-guidance skills, radiologic follow-up and importantly its place alongside other therapies. ESGAR has therefore brought together an expert multidisciplinary faculty for a two day informal workshop aimed at both priming and enhancing an image-guided ablation service.

The workshop will include multidisciplinary management, open discussion of live cases along with equipment and device familiarisation. Delegate members are limited to forty so as to enhance the learning experience. If your interventional service is seeking to expand in this area early application is advised.
