Zusammenfassung: Theoretical physics is the first step for the development of science and technology. Since more than 100 years ago it has delivered new and sophisticated discoveries which have changed human view on their surroundings and universe. Theoretical physics has also revealed that the governing law in our universe is not deterministic, and it is undoubtedly the foundation of our modern civilization.Contrary to its importance, research in theoretical physics has not well developed in some developing countries such as Indonesia. This workshop provides the formal meeting in Indonesia devoted to the field of theoretical physics and is organized to cover all subjects of theoretical physics as well as nonlinear phenomena in order to create a gathering place for the theorists in Indonesia and surrounding countries, to motivate young physicists to keep doing active researches in the field and to encourage constructive communication among the community members. Following the success of the six previous workshops in this conference series, namely the first Workshop on Theoretical Physics 2004 (WTP2K4), in UI Depok in 2004, the second in ITB Bandung in 2005 (WTP2K5), the third in UGM Yogyakarta in 2006 (WTP2K6), the fourth in ITS Surabaya in 2007 (WTP2K7), the fifth in IPB Bogor in 2008 (WTP2K8), and the sixth in ITB Bandung in 2009 (WTP2K6), the seventh conference will be held again in UI Depok, Indonesia, on November 6, 2010. In this seventh conference the topic of Nonlinear Phenomena is added due to the high request of this research field. As a consequence, the name of the conference is changed to the Conference on Theoretical Physics and Nonlinear Phenomena 201
