Zusammenfassung: With the rapid growth of the Indian Economy, there is need to augment the energy supply capacity keeping in mind the security of environment. Energy usage and supply is of fundamental importance to society and, with the possible exception of agriculture and forestry, has made the greatest impact on the environment of any human activity.

The Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) will be organizing the 18th International Engineering & Technology Fair 2009 (18th IETF 2009) along with Energy & Environment 2009 as one of the concurrent shows. IETF is the International Flagship Event of CII which is organized biennially since 1975. The exhibition aims to showcase the latest technologies & innovation in the Energy and Environment industry.

Zusammenfassung: The annual conference established since 2004. The 2008 Conference was attended by over 300 participants, and 159 papers were presented by authors from 21 countries.

The Conference objective is to support and promote the transfer and exchange of best practices and experience, and the development of environmentally sound waste management business; to present new developments, equipment and services; to establish and strengthen contacts between the interested parties; to attract attention of investors, industry managers, business community, public groups, government officials and mass media to the issue of waste management.

Participation in the Conference is beneficial to companies, which intend to promote their waste management technologies, equipments and services in Ukraine, Russia, Belarus, Kazakhstan and other CIS (Commonwealth of Independent States) countries, or interested in know-how of CIS specialists.

Zusammenfassung: NUCLEAR 2009 will be the eighth in this series of highly successful trade shows that have established its status as the region's leading event showcasing the best in nuclear power technology and innovation. The full support from the most concerned organizations can be translated into supreme and quality attendance of all pertinent professionals and executives from the Chinese end-users and nuclear power officials.

The 2009 event promises to be special in sense that "The Ministerial Conference on Nuclear Energy in the 21st Century", an International Atomic Energy Agency event with participants being Ministers and senior level advisors or representatives of organizations that can make or influence energy related decisions from some 40 countries and regions , will be held in parallel in Beijing over the period of April 20-21, 2009.

Zusammenfassung: The conference will provide an international forum to present and discuss recent research in mathematical modeling and computing as applied to nuclear engineering and particle transport. This conference is part of a series of topical meetings organized by the Mathematics and Computation Division of the American Nuclear Society. The technical program will consist of plenary sessions, parallel oral presentation sessions and poster sessions. There will also be one or more workshops.

Zusammenfassung: The Meeting will cover a range of topics including the synthesis, analysis and uses of isotopes in pharmaceuticals, PET imaging, agrochemicals. metabolism and biology. There will also be four $1000 awards given to the top four student presentations involving Isotopes.

Zusammenfassung: The focus of INC ’09 is nuclear power technology. The conference is expected to be attended by 500 local and overseas participants from various sectors related to nuclear power. There will also be an exhibition of equipment and systems related to nuclear power technology.

Zusammenfassung: Nuclear power is the only long-term sustainable alternative to carbon based energy. With the rise of oil prices coupled with global economic uncertainties one of the most reliable power source available is nuclear energy. Globally, more than 200 nuclear power plants are scheduled to be built. Australia is perfectly poised to capitalize on this "nuclear renaissance".

Zusammenfassung: Beginning with ENC-1 in Paris in 1975, ENS has shaped these traditional four-yearly European Nuclear Conferences into a unique combination of the world's major nuclear science & industry trade fair coupled with the largest international nuclear congress. From the start, the American Nuclear Society was a partner in the conferences, being joined later by other major nuclear organisations. The ENCs have become the meeting point of the world's nuclear community.
