Zusammenfassung: On behalf of organizing committee , We invite you to join us at the Global Youth meeting - Nepal, Social, Regional and political discourses across the world continue to problematise , criminalise young people and culture exchange and are built on a language of fear, protection, control and surveillance. This is neither helpful in engaging or empowering young people nor is it acceptable in terms of meeting their democratic rights. on Popular Culture and Education in Asia at the Nepal , Commuication of youth .

The conference will bring together national and international interested young people from a variety of diciplines to focus on the implications of intra-regional flows of popular culture in europe , asia, america , africa and Southeast Asia for educational practices and youth development. We welcome papers that elucidate changing patterns in your own popular culture as well as papers that explore implications and applications of youth engagement with popular culture inside and outside the classroom.

We welcome researchers, educators , scholars and all interested persons from Sociology, Cultural Studies, Media Studies, Anthropology, Language and Literacy, Music, Visual Studies, European Studies, Asian Studies, Education and other disciplines that take popular culture seriously to join us in this event.
