Konferenzservice Mandl

Zusammenfassung: The Clean Air conference series has taken place in Portugal since 1991 and since 2009 organized by the present committee. Since the first edition the conference has provided a good opportunity to promote exchange of information between academic and industrial participants in parallel with an enjoyable stay in Portugal.

The conference deals mainly with techniques to reduce the impact of fossil fuel utilization or the use of alternative fuels including, the development of CO2 capture technologies, the use of biomass and other fuels, the improvement of equipment operation to maximize energy utilization, fuel processing technologies, etc. The conference addresses a large range of applications ranging from small scale appliances and engines for transport to industrial and power plants.

Both, academic and applied contributions are welcome but particular efforts will be made to stimulate papers from industry and end users in general. The conference format has mainly oral presentations and a poster section to promote discussion of results. The conference includes a reception, an afternoon tour and a farewell dinner with plenty of time to make personal contacts.
