Zusammenfassung: “Imaging-Based Neurodiagnosis” is designed for the practicing radiologist, neurosurgeon, neurologist, or related specialist seeking a thorough review of advanced neuroimaging principles, anatomy, and exhaustive case material. Discussions of imaging strategies and new modalities will be correlated with a broad range of specific clinical images, focusing on the development of appropriate differential diagnoses and the distinctions that will aid in the resolution of clinical diagnostic dilemmas. This course will include both adult and pediatric entities, covering the range of subjects included in the American Board of Radiology’s Certificate of Added Qualification(CAQ) in Neuroradiology examination.

During the popular case review sessions, Malcolm Shupeck, M.D., F.A.C.S., Associate Medical Director, will present selected cases with Stephen J. Pomeranz, M.D. Each case will be discussed with particular teaching points that supplement the course lectures, and the reports generated will be distributed to all attendees.

Zusammenfassung: The Annual Scientific Meeting of the CAR will be an exciting look at the future of radiology. Time and information management are crucial components of every radiologist’s workday. We will share information on how to adapt and manage these increasingly important and constantly advancing factors to optimize your workflow, improve patient safety and enhance your practice. An exciting mix of didactic lectures, debates and hands-on workshops will be offered in areas such as coronary CT angiography, obstetrical ultrasound and head to toe imaging.

Zusammenfassung: ANSTO is running a free seminar on 22 and 23 March on recent advances in radiopharmaceutical science and imaging at the Garvan Institute in Sydney. International speakers and papers from local researchers are being presented.

Zusammenfassung: This intensive three-day course (Thursday, Friday and Saturday) is designed as a state-of-the art update on all facets of sports medicine imaging for the radiologist, orthopaedic surgeon and the sports medicine physician. Didactic lectures on imaging of the spine, marrow and all articulations will be provided. In addition, current thinking on musculoskeletal pediatrics, musculoskeletal ultrasound, cartilage and post-operative imaging of the shoulder, knee, and wrist will be featured. The conference will also provide interesting case sessions.

Zusammenfassung: The motto of the Conference is “Where we are and where we are going in radiation protection in medicine?”. Thus the focus is to presage next decade. The conference will provide a platform for sharing current developments and examine future trends in radiation protection in all applications of radiation in medicine.

The scope is multidisciplinary, intended for a wide audience of professional involved in radiation protection such as medical physicists, imaging and therapy physicians, engineers, radiographers, as well as representatives of authorities, manufacturers, patient organisations and public relation and risk communication specialists.

The Conference is planned as a three-day program of events, which will include plenary, scientific, and poster sessions, refresher courses, forums/round tables and panel discussions. The major sessions will have invited keynote lectures.

A pre-conference workshop on Radiation protection of children and pregnancy will be organised on Tuesday afternoon and Wednesday morning.
