Résumé: The 27th Annual “Morton A. Bosniak Head to Toe Imaging Conference” in its entirety offers an intensive 5 1/2 day program reviewing Neurologic, Musculoskeletal, Pediatric, Abdominal, Thoracic, Cardiac, Breast, Women’s, Trauma and Emergency Imaging, PET/CT, and interventional techniques. An innovative feature of this course is that individual sections of the program can be attended on a daily basis, allowing course content to be tailored to the unique interests and requirements of each registrant.

The purpose of this course is to provide the registrant with an overview of state-of-the-art imaging methods as they pertain to clinical practice, and to introduce advances in the field in terms of imaging technology and disease diagnosis and management. The course is designed to examine the practical aspects of established CT, MRI, US, and PET techniques, as well as to introduce new techniques and applications for these modalities. Plenary sessions and workshops have been structured to review pathologic processes and image interpretation, and to update the registrant on advanced applications and image analysis. The one-day Interventional course will provide an overview of current interventional techniques and therapies, geared toward radiologists who perform limited IR procedures and image patients following intervention. In this session, hands-on workshops running concurrently with didactic lectures will enable attendees to refine their freehand ultrasound intervention skills and gain familiarity with a wide variety of interventional devices.

Résumé: The course is designed for practicing radiologists to review old topics, pick up some practical pearls, and hear the latest practical advances. The format is mostly didactic lectures, particularly in the mornings. The last session in the afternoons, after the beer and pretzels, will be informal case presentations designed to be both entertaining and challenging as well as educational. Of course, we will reserve some time in the middle of the day for recreation. But extra credit can be earned if you go up the chairlift with faculty.

In addition, there is a get (re-)acquainted cocktail party on the Sunday evening. On Thursday will be the annual invitational fun race. Prizes will be awarded for all categories, including the ones who enjoyed the race the longest.
