Résumé	The TAC conferences on Transport, Atmosphere, and Climate provide a platform for an international information exchange and a discussion forum on the current status of our knowledge of the impact of transport on the composition of the atmosphere and the climate. They continue and broaden the scope of the initial AAC conference Aviation, Atmosphere, and Climate which took place in 2003. The first and second TAC conferences were successfully held in Oxford in 2006 and in Aachen/Maastricht in 2009.

4.HIC 2012 — Understanding Changing Climate and Environment and Finding Solutions
