Résumé: After our successful 2nd annual event in Xi’An, Lnoppen moves the China Advanced Coal Chemical Summit to Ordos, the most featured venue for investment in the China coal chemical industry. There, senior directors from China’s coal and related state-owned industries will discuss China’s newest industrial policies and source technology solutions for their plants, as well as receiving the most up-to-date progress reports on planned “San Xi” projects. Lnoppen’s China Advanced Coal Chemical Summit is the most respected, high-level event addressing industry advancements for China.

Résumé: The conference for combinatorial and high-throughput materials science to offer the best opportunity to discuss the most recent developments in the area. The informal atmosphere facilitates an active interchange of challenging ideas in open discussions among the players from all backgrounds in the field. The total number of participants is limited to 120 to ensure in-depth communication. Main topic areas include, data mining / modelling, organic synthesis, polymers, biocatalysts / biomaterials, devices / multiplexing, sensors / fuel cells, catalysis, industrial application. Each topic area will be introduced to the audience by plenary speakers, leading experts in the field, deepened by prominent experienced senior scientists and new pathways illuminated by promising young scientists. Viele Nutzer schöpfen die Möglichkeiten von Suchmaschinen aber nur unvollständig aus oder kennen jenseits von Google kaum spezielle Einstiegsadressen für chemietypische Fragestellungen. Denn viele wertvolle Informationen sind in Datenbanken abgelegt und daher über Suchmaschinen in der Regel nicht recherchierbar. Die Kenntnis solcher Quellen erhöht die Qualität von Suchresultaten und spart viel Zeit und damit Geld. Das Seminar gibt einen Überblick über die besten Suchdienste und wichtigsten Internetseiten im Chemieumfeld. Darüber hinaus helfen viele praktische Tipps dabei, zukünftige Recherchen schneller und mit besseren Ergebnissen durchzuführen.

Résumé: The objective of this symposium is to provide a forum for the interactions of environmental chemists and mineralogists, environmental microbiologists, ecologists, toxicologists and soil scientists to address the current state-of-the-art and identify gaps in knowledge on physicochemical and biological interfacial interactions at the molecular level at the soil-root interface (the rhizosphere) pertaining to the dynamics, transformations, bioavailability, and toxicity of metals, metalloids, anthropogenic organics, and vital elements.

TRGS 512 erwerben Sie bzw. vertiefen Sie Ihre Sachkunde in der Anwendung von Phosphorwasserstoff bei der Begasung im Erdreich zur Wühlmausbekämpfung. Es werden die Rechtsgrundlagen, die Stoffeigenschaften von Phosphorwasserstoff, toxikologische Aspekte sowie die besondere Erste Hilfe, Arbeitsschutz und Gefährdungsbeurteilung, Gasmesstechnik und -verfahren sowie Lebensweise und Biologie der Wühlmaus vermittelt. Teil des Lehrgangs ist außerdem eine praktische Übung. Teilnahmevoraussetzung sind eine aktuelle Ersthelferausbildung sowie die gesundheitliche Eignung. Résumé: The ‘EUCHEM Conference on Stereochemistry’, better known as ‘Bürgenstock Conference’, is an outstanding international chemistry meeting of high scientific quality, with an optimal setting for intense inter-disciplinary discussion.

Over the years, the ‘Bürgenstock Conference’ has grown into a multi-disciplinary conference where frontier science is being discussed. Lectures cover many areas of chemistry and relevant highlights from neighboring disciplines.

Résumé: IUPAC 2009, the 42nd IUPAC Congress, is one of the most important international chemistry events. On behalf of IUPAC, the Royal Society of Chemistry (RSC) is delighted to host this edition of the series, the history of which goes back to 1894. IUPAC was set up to advance the worldwide aspects of the chemical sciences and to contribute to the application of chemistry in the service of mankind, and the 2009 congress follows its lead with a programme that addresses the important challenges facing both the chemical sciences and society today such as climate change, energy, sustainability and healthcare. This will be the biggest UK chemistry conference for several years. As well as a programme including more than 50 symposia, we are planning a series of social and satellite events to enhance networking and discussion opportunities. Combined with a large poster session and scientific exhibition showcasing the latest developments from around the world, it will be a conference to remember. The aim of the 42nd IUPAC congress is to reflect the breadth if the chemical sciences, highlighting the impact of our science and exciting innovations with an overall focus on 'Chemistry Solutions'. Themes will overlap in several places and the programme has been designed to be accessible and relevant to all.

Résumé: The International Chemical Congress of Pacific Basin Societies has been established to disseminate recent research results in the chemical sciences among chemists of the Pacific Rim countries, thereby fostering industrial development, improving local and global environments and the material well-being of their peoples.
