Résumé	Chromatography is a science of study that involves the separation of molecules in a mixture based on differences in their structure and /or composition. Separation and purific-ation of a component from a complex mixture is a necessary and important step in research labs, chemical and bioprocessing industries, and in production line. Chromatography is quite well suited for the characterization and analysis of biomolecules such as proteins, oligosaccharides and nucleic acids. Mass spectrometry an analytical tool used to identify unknown compounds, quantify known compounds and elucidate molecular structure is increasingly being employed to elucidate the structure and size of biomolecues such as protein , nucleic acid. GC and LC are integrated with mass spectra to characterize the biomolecules.
