Résumé: ANA World Conference – 2009 on “Animal Nutrition: Preparedness to Combat Challenges” is being organized by Animal Nutrition Association (ANA), India in collaboration with Indian Council of Agricultural Research, New Delhi, International Livestock Research Institute, Addis Ababa, and Indian Veterinary Research Institute, Izatnagar.

Globally, future livestock production is threatened by climate change, land degradation, water pollution and above all feed shortages. These factors have put forward challenges for the livestock researchers and farmers to produce more from less in a sustainable and eco-friendly manner. Therefore, the efforts to combat challenges of livestock production are concentrated around animal nutritionists, rumen microbiologists, feed technologists, physiologists, biotechnologists, management personnel, health scientists and extension workers.

There Conference will comprise of 03 plenary sessions and 08 symposia covering topics related to feed resources, farming system, livestock production, biotechnology and other related areas. Besides there will be 03 Round Tables on topics of current interest.

Résumé: With the rapid growth of the Indian Economy, there is need to augment the energy supply capacity keeping in mind the security of environment. Energy usage and supply is of fundamental importance to society and, with the possible exception of agriculture and forestry, has made the greatest impact on the environment of any human activity.

The Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) will be organizing the 18th International Engineering & Technology Fair 2009 (18th IETF 2009) along with Energy & Environment 2009 as one of the concurrent shows. IETF is the International Flagship Event of CII which is organized biennially since 1975. The exhibition aims to showcase the latest technologies & innovation in the Energy and Environment industry.

Résumé: An International Conference on Energy and Environment, EnviroEnergy 2009, is being conducted by the National Institute of Technology, Kurukshetra, India. The Conference aims at addressing the challenges in the emerging areas of energy and environment to achieve sustainable development. The Conference, EnviroEnergy 2009, shall provide a useful forum to academicians, technologists, entrepreneurs and policy makers worldwide for exchange of concepts and emerging technologies in the fields of energy and environment. It shall include a highly focussed technical program consisting of presentations on regular and specialized tracks at the intersection of business and technology; exhibits of new products, technologies and solutions from academia and industry. The Conference shall attempt to evolve an agenda for environmental policies, identification of green technologies and their subsequent implementation for sustainable development.
