Why?
The objectives of the Launching Conference are to:
present the CEFR Companion Volume with New Descriptors;
bring together curriculum designers, education professionals, researchers and policy makers to address key considerations for a successful implementation of the CEFR/CV, in particular the new descriptors for mediation, in plurilingual and pluricultural education; and
provide a stimulus for the practical implementation of the CEFR/CV in pluricultural and plurilingual education across member states, and a clear frame for evaluation of educational impact.
The expected outcomes are:
recommendations from the group work during the conference,
an agreed set of guidelines with an accompanying documentation template for conducting and reporting on local implementation,
initiatives for further discussion and piloting such as special interest groups to engage in follow up online exchanges of best practice,
an initial list of possible contributors to a volume of CEFR/CV case studies to be published by the Council of Europe.

How to apply?
You need to have a user account in order to register your application to this event. There is no registration fee, however participants should cover their travel and accomodation expenses.
There are 100 places available. Participants will be selected according to their profiles and on a first come first served basis. There will be a limit of 25 seats for each profile.
