AMM 2018 — Additive Manufacturing Meeting
28 Jun 2018 - 29 Jun 2018 • Wroclaw, Poland
The second edition of additive manufacturing user’s seminar - AMM 2018 will be held on 28-29 June 2018 in Wroclaw. Additive Manufacturing Meeting 2018 is an international event for people and institutions interested in the development and implementation of additive manufacturing. The organizers' intention is to build a common platform for an exchange of knowledge and experience both in the field of industrial and medical solutions. The first edition of AMM took place on June 30, 2017, and brought together 140 participants from over 50 industrial and research organizations. During the seminar, 18 speakers presented potential applications, current research trends and implementation case studies of AM technologies in the aerospace, medical, automotive and consumer industries. Registration for speakers is open. Abstracts accepted in Polish or English. Registration for participants starts in February 2018.

European Forum on New Technologies - Chemical Engineering & 3D Printing
07 Sep 2018 • Paris , France
Chemical Engineering is involved at mulitple levels as the printer could be considered as a mini-plant, central to the preparation of the raw material, which requires special properties; the design of the printer (considering energy, pollutants, recycle, gas emmission capture ...); and the determination of the optimal operating conditions.

Faraday Discussion — Understanding and Reconstructing Biointerfaces with 3D Soft Nanolithography
03 Jul 2019 - 05 Jul 2019 • London, United Kingdom
Capturing the interfacial dynamics that drive the mechanical and biological properties of natural carbohydrate-based nanomaterials will require synergistic advances in 3D nanolithography, surface characterization, and organic and macromolecular chemistry at interfaces. The challenge, and the reason why this topic merits a Faraday Discussion, is that many of the researchers working in this area come from disparate fields that rarely if ever communicate, including physical chemistry, surface chemistry, mechanical engineering, biology, and material science.
