ICBEN 2017 — ICBEN 2017 Congress on Noise as a Public Health Problem

The 12th ICBEN Congress on Noise as a Public Health Problem will be held June 18-22 2017 in Zurich, Switzerland. The congress will take place at the ETH Zurich main campus in the university district in the very heart of the city. It will be open to all interested scientists, researchers, and policy makers alike and welcomes contributions from all disciplines doing research in auditory and non-auditory effects of noise. The congress is organized, under the auspices of the International Commission on Biological Effects of Noise (ICBEN), by the Swiss Acoustical Society (SGA-SSA), the Federal Office for the Environment (BAFU), the Federal Laboratories for Materials Testing and Research (Empa), and the Swiss Tropical and Public Health Institute (SwissTPH). The chairpersons of ICBEN and the local organizing committee extend a warm welcome to all prospective participants worldwide and invite all to get together in Zurich to discuss the latest advancements in the research of noise effects, environmental epidemiology of noise, and noise policies.
