PLANCKS 2019 — The Physics League Across Numerous Countries for Kickass Students
17 May 2019 - 20 May 2019 • Odense, Denmark
The Physics League Across Numerous Countries for Kick-ass Students (PLANCKS) was first held in the Netherlands by Studenten Physica in Nederland (SPIN), the Dutch umbrella association for physics study associations, as they decided to organize this international competition with the help of the International Association of Physics Students (IAPS). The first edition of PLANCKS took place in May 2014 in Utrecht, and since then PLANCKS is held annually in May.

PLANCKS is a theoretical physics competition for bachelor and master students. It is a three-day event containing an opening symposium, the contest itself, and filled to the brim with numerous excursions and social activities, where the participants are encouraged to discover the research environment and culture of the hosting country.

QMath14 — Mathematical results in quantum physics
12 Aug 2019 - 16 Aug 2019 • Aarhus , Denmark
A conference series "Mathematical Results in Quantum Theory" (or QMath) was initiated by P. Exner and P. Seba in 1987. The aim is not only to bring together people interested in the "quantum part" of mathematical physics, but also to stimulate a search for new quantum effects and a deeper understanding of quantum physics, as well as the development of methods which can help in situations where the standard quantum mechanical tools are inadequate.
