The conference aim is to highlight the increasing willingness of researchers and operators in water and environment fields, to develop the applications of research results for development, protection and management of water resources with rational and thoughtful use. The will is to ensure harmonious social and economic development, to ensure a permanent match and a sustainable balance between water needs and available resources, and to have an operating strategy for the coming decades, which determines technical options for management and conservation of water resources and also institutional, legal and economic instruments to ensure economical and sustainable water use.

1- Global climate changes, hydrological regimes and extreme events. 2- Erosion, sediment transport, Dams and coastal impacts. 3- Water quality, drinking and waste water treatment and processing. 4- Eco- hydrology and integrated management of the Ocean-continent balance. 5- Cross-borders water resources management, data bases and observatories. 6- Hydrological modeling and water resources management scenarios. 7- Water resources and socio-economic activities (agriculture, breeding, fishing….etc) 8- Eco-hydrology and pedo-transfer: Modeling and water management from the agro-pedo-ecosystems to the large scale watershed. 9- Low flows, ground/surface water relationships and interactions, karstic hydrogeology. 10- Dams and water transfer, irrigation and water supply. 11- Water Education.
