Geometric Measure Theory and its Connections
04 Jun 2018 - 08 Jun 2018 • University of Helsinki, Helsinki, Finland
The Geometric Measure Theory and its Connections Conference at the University of Helsinki, 4 - 8 June 2018, focuses on recent developments and breakthroughs in geometric measure theory, with emphasis on connections to adjacent fields, in particular harmonic analysis and dynamical systems. The aim is to bring together international experts in these fields, to foster exchange of ideas and collaboration. Topics include: geometric measure theory in Euclidean and non-Euclidean spaces, rectifiability and harmonic analysis, Kakeya problems, fractals and dynamical systems. The versatile programme of plenary talks is complemented by a a poster session and five contributed talks and that will be selected among the applications, with preference given to young researchers.
