SCT 2021 — Surfaces and Coatings Technologies International conference
07 Apr 2021 - 09 Apr 2021 • Paris, France
Organizer:
SETCOR conferences and events
Abstract:
The event offers a great opportunity for scientists, researchers, and experts active in the field of surfaces and coatings science and technologies (Polymer, material and paint chemists, surface and interface scientists, formulators, designers and policy makers) from both academia and industry to present their newest research discoveries, share insights and exchange the latest ideas.

The conference provides an excellent opportunity for scientists from Europe and from all over the world to meet and discuss the latest advances in surfaces and coatings physics and chemistry, surface engineering/ modification, coatings deposition and functionalisation processes as well as the investigated properties and performances in related innovation fields such as heterogeneous catalysis, two-dimensional materials and graphene, bio-interfaces, nanoelectronics, bio-nanoscience, functional/energy materials, etc

15th European Summer School on Scattering Methods Aplied to Soft Condensed Matter,
15 Jun 2021 - 23 Jun 2021 • Bombannes, France
Abstract:
The Bombannes summer school is devoted to the practical «state-of-art» approach to scattering methods, using neutrons, as well as X-ray and light sources - today’s key techniques to study structure and dynamics in systems containing colloids, polymers, surfactants and biological macromolecules. Since 1990 the Bombannes school series introduces, on a fundamental level, the current methodology of static and dynamic scattering techniques and their application to soft matter systems. It provides with a period of 2 years advanced training for young researchers with a working place in European laboratories at post-graduate and post-doctoral level.

ISyDMA'6 — Sixth International Symposium on Dielectric Materials and Applications
15 Sep 2021 - 17 Sep 2021 • Calais, France
Organizer:
UDSMM Laboratory, University of Littoral-Côte d’Opale, France
Abstract:
The ISyDMA conference is an international event focused on recent developments in dielectric materials and their applications. It is aimed at PhD students, post-docs, researchers and engineers from public and private research organizations concerned with innovations in advanced dielectric materials for biomedical, biotechnological and industrial applications. The conference is aimed at materials specialists, physicists, chemists, biologists and engineers engaged in fundamental and applied research on dielectric materials and their innovative applications. ISyDMA is open to a large scientific community since it brings together between 150 and 200 researchers and industrialists of 20 to 25 different nationalities. This is the 6th edition, the previous having taken place in Rabat (Morocco) in 2016, in Bucharest (Romania) in 2017, in Beni-Mellal (Morocco) in 2018, in Amman (Jordan) in 2019 and in virtual in 2020 due to the current health context.
