CEPC — Correlations and Entanglement with Photons in Cavities
02 Sep 2018 - 06 Sep 2018 • Newport Pagnell, United Kingdom
The aim of this event is to bring together researchers working in the fields of quantum collective phenomena, coherence, correlations and entanglement, realised using various experimental platforms based on photons in cavities. This area of research has been at the forefront of some of the most promising advances in quantum technologies, with applications across quantum computing, quantum simulation and quantum sensing, as well as the testing of fundamental theories in the lab. Themes at the workshop will include, polaritons in semiconductor micro-cavities, circuit QED systems, atoms in cavities and other related platforms.
Quantum Correlations, Quantum Coherence, Quantum Entanglement, Circuit QED, Polaritons, Semiconductor Micro-cavities, Atoms in Cavities.
Faraday Discussion — Advances in Ion Spectroscopy - From Astrophysics to Biology
08 Apr 2019 - 10 Apr 2019 • York, United Kingdom
The rapid growth of the field and impressive scientific achievements over the past decade make this meeting both timely and topical and we hope will provide a roadmap of where the field is and what the challenges will be over the next 5-10 years and beyond.
