BNASS 2020 — The 20th Biennial National Atomic Spectroscopy Symposium
29 Jun 2020 - 01 Jul 2020 • Manchester, United Kingdom
Royal Society of Chemistry (RSC), Atomic Spectroscopy Group
BNASS (Biennial National Atomic Spectroscopy Symposium) is the biennial meeting of the RSC Atomic Spectroscopy Group and provides an ideal forum to encourage the exchange of ideas and knowledge in analytical atomic spectroscopy. BNASS will celebrate its 20th event in 2020 and during its history, there have been some tremendous changes in atomic spectroscopy. BNASS has built an international reputation for both the quality of the science presented and the unique style of the symposium, enabling delegates to meet and discuss issues in a social setting. The organisers would especially like to encourage young researchers to present their results in short oral presentations within each of the topic sessions.
Recent atomic spectroscopy advances, Fundamentals of collision cells including triple quadrupole MS, Measurement of nanoparticles (single particle analysis and field-flow fractionation), Bio-imaging and laser ablation applications, Speciation and metallomics, Biological and clinical applications of trace element analysis, Environmental analysis, Food analysis
CCP5 Summer School 2020 — Molecular simulation methods
19 Jul 2020 - 30 Jul 2020 • Durham University, United Kingdom
The 2020 Summer School will take place at Durham University from 19 to 30 July. Organised by CCP5 and sponsored by CECAM, the School is intended for newcomers to the science of molecular simulation and will provide a comprehensive introduction to the theoretical background as well as practical sessions on computational methods and research seminars to illustrate the versatility of simulation in modern research. There will also be opportunities for participants to present their own research.
01 Sep 2020 - 04 Sep 2020 • Nottingham, United Kingdom
Photon 2020 is the major Optics and Photonics conference organised by the Institute of Physics in the UK and the tenth in the biennial series that started in 2002. Over four days, Photon participants will have the opportunity to visit exhibitions on the latest in optics and photonics technology, attend lectures from experts in the field, and get up to date with cutting-edge research.
Conference-Service.com offers, as part of its business activities, a directory of upcoming scientific and technical meetings. The calendar is published for the convenience of conference participants and we strive to support conference organisers who need to publish their upcoming events.
