ISOS 2019 — XLIV "A. Corbella" International Summer School on Organic Synthesis
09 Jun 2019 - 13 Jun 2019 • Gargnano, Italy
The “A. Corbella” School on Organic Synthesis has a long tradition, which dates back to 1976. Named after its cofounder Attilio Corbella, who died prematurely in 1978, the School is sponsored by the Division of Organic Chemistry of the Italian Chemical Society (SCI) and organized under the direction of the Department of Chemistry of the Università degli Studi di Milano, every year in June in Gargnano, a small village on Garda Lake.

Lake Como School MOFS 2019 — 1st International School on Advanced Porous Materials
17 Jun 2019 - 21 Jun 2019 • Como, Italy
Lake Como School of Advanced Studies
Metal-organic Frameworks (MOFs) and Covalent-organic Frameworks (COFs) are non-conventional porous materials based on the self-assembly of organic/inorganic and organic/organic prearranged synthons, respectively. The extensive library of synthons and synthetic conditions can lead to the formation of a wide variety of MOFs and COFs with functional properties – adsorption, separation, capture, heterogeneous catalysis, sensing, drug delivery, to quote a few – that outperform, in many aspects, those of classical porous materials.
