ISPlasma/IC-PLANTS
07 Mar 2021 - 11 Mar 2021 • ONLINE, Japan
Abstract:
ISPlasma/IC-PLANTS is a specialized international symposium that brings together about 500 world-leading scientists and engineers in Nagoya, Japan to discuss latest researches in the fields of advanced plasma science, its applications for the processing and manufacturing of nitride semiconductors and nanomaterials, as well as new ecosystems for technology transfers. This symposium will address issues such as global warming, resources and energy problems to which the advanced plasma science and its application technologies can greatly contribute. In this symposium, biosensing technologies will be also highlighted, because of their increasing importance in healthcare, agri-food and environmental areas. We hope that this symposium will provide an ideal opportunity for the exchange of new ideas and information, and also support the initiation or further development of international collaborations among those who work in these multidisciplinary fields.

ICDDPS-3 — 3rd International Conference on Data-Driven Plasma Science
29 Mar 2021 - 02 Apr 2021 • virtual, Japan
Abstract:
The goal of the Conference is for the participants to gain information on and to discuss latest research activities in data-driven science (such as artificial intelligence, machine learning, image processing, data mining, and big data) applied to plasma science and technologies, including, but not limited to, plasma processing and nuclear fusion. Thanks to the recent advancement of sophisticated diagnostics techniques and first-principle computer simulations, the amount of data that one can accumulate in typical research is increasing exponentially. Plasma scientists should also be able to take full advantage of, or even contribute to, the latest development of data-driven science and devise a way to extract essential information efficiently from such data. The extracted information then may be used for more efficient plasmas control and/or offer good insight into physical mechanisms of the phenomena that they study.

JSPP-12 — 12th EU-Japan Joint Symposium on Plasma Processing
29 Mar 2021 - 02 Apr 2021 • virtual, Japan
Abstract:
Due to the continuing travel restrictions, JSPP-12 and APCPST-15 will be held as an entirely virtual conference from 29 March (Mon) to 2April (Fri), 2021. To accommodate a large part of the globe, the conference will be open only for 2 hours a day from 11:00 to 13:00 GMT. Accordingly the number of presentations will be limited and most of the scheduled invited talks will be postponed to future JSPP and APCPST. The new program of the JSPP-12 and APCPST-15 will be posted in early January. The registration will be free of charge and the web site of new registration will open in January. We apologize for any inconvenience that may be caused by these changes.

ISPC25 — 25th International Symposium on Plasma Chemistry
15 May 2022 - 20 May 2022 • Kyoto, Japan
Organizer:
International Plasma Chemistry Society (IPCS)
Abstract:
The aim of this Symposium is to bring together leading experts, practitioners, and students working on plasma chemistry and to establish a relaxed and informal venue for intensive discussions on the latest discoveries and active exchange of new ideas among them. All papers presented in this Symposium should report new and unpublished work. As such, the Symposium will offer the participants a unique opportunity to gain comprehensive first-hand information on the latest developments in this field. The International Symposium on Plasma Chemistry (ISPC) is sponsored by the International Plasma Chemistry Society (IPCS), the largest international not-for-profit professional society specializing in plasma chemistry.
