01 Apr 2020 - 04 Apr 2020 • Penang Island, Malaysia
Abstract:
The strength of this congress is the combination of MSK MRI and Ultrasound and how and when each is used to solve the practical issues in MSK radiology. This intensive hands-on workshop teaches radiologists to report MSK MRI with at least 95% accuracy and perform diagnostics ultrasound with confidence. As a new addition, the congress now includes a focus on Interventional Radiology such as the role of injectables and anatomic positioning of injections. Over 150 MSK MRI and Ultrasound new and latest videos of different joints are reviewed to demonstrate the pathology that is missed in common day to day reporting. Learn practical tips and pearls not found in textbooks.

Ultrasound sessions are divided into existing level of expertise to cater to individual training needs. The demonstrators consist of well-established teachers and trainers from Asia and Europe who have done thousands of Musculoskeletal ultrasound cases. Accurate diagnosis based on clinical history, simple physical stress tests and imaging findings will be highlighted for ultrasound. Limited places available to enable small group hands-on training. 3rd International Expert Meeting for the Treatment of Cholangiocarcinoma
11 Jun 2020 - 13 Jun 2020 • Mainz, Germany
Organizer:
wikonect GmbH
Abstract:
The management of cholangiocarcinoma remains a major challenge. With the establishment of modern surgical, interventional and systemic treatment options over the last few years, the treatment of cholangiocarcinoma more than ever requires an interdisciplinary approach and open dialogue. Therefore, the 3rd International Expert Meeting in Mainz will bring together renowned specialists in the field of surgery, medical oncology, pathology, endoscopy, diagnostic and interventional radiology as well as radiotherapy. Experts from all around the world will meet in Mainz for an intensive two-day discussion on diverse aspects of cholangiocarcinoma. The program 2020 comprises most relevant topics and critical issues on the diagnosis and management of intrahepatic, perihilar as well as distal cholangiocarcinoma: as observed in other cancer types, molecular profiling has started to gain increasing relevance in the treatment of advanced cholangiocarcinoma. Moreover, novel diagnostic approaches as well as tools for local therapy have been developed, which require particular attention. Furthermore, controversies on the optimal preoperative work-up including biliary drainage as well as potential indications for neoadjuvant and adjuvant targeted therapy will be major topics. Also, IgG4-associated cholangitis and Klatskin-mimicking lesions that are still highly difficult differential diagnoses and pose major therapeutical problems will be highlighted. Finally, operative techniques, pitfalls in surgery and surgical strategies are presented focusing on vascular resection, the laparoscopic and robotic approach as well as ALPPS.

15 Oct 2020 - 17 Oct 2020 • Dubrovnik, Croatia
Organizer:
European Society of Cardiovascular Radiology (ESCR)
Abstract:
Taking into account the needs of already established experts in cardiovascular radiology, but also of radiologists and radiographers with less experience in this field, the ESCR 2020 programme will be well-balanced between advanced and basic level, including continuation of the ESCR Young Club Sessions that were introduced last year with great success. Cardiovascular imaging hot topics, including multiparametric cardiac MRI, functional CT techniques, imaging in cardio-oncology and neurocardiology, artificial intelligence and machine learning will be discussed, partly also through collaboration with ESCR partner societies. CT and MRI workshops will again be offered to those who would like to improve their practical experience using different software applications in the daily clinical routine. During the meeting, participants will be able to meet world-renowned experts in cardiovascular radiology and to share the knowledge and experience with them in a warm and friendly atmosphere.

Prostate Cancer MRI Fellowship
19 Oct 2020 - 23 Oct 2020 • Barcelona, Spain
Organizer:
TMC Academy
Abstract:
The program covers all the main topics related to MRI of prostate cancer and provides basic and early advanced knowledge. Radiologists (to-be) who would like to become more confident on reporting prostate MRI will find the fellowship useful. The Prostate MRI fellowship that TMC academy offers includes an overview of the main indications to perform MRI of the prostate: Diagnosis (PI-RAD), staging (local and sytemic), follow up (post-treatment and active surveillance) . Each module starts with a lecture. You will be challenged with an examination and after the lecture we continue with individual case readings from the TMC academy teaching file. Finally, each module ends with a common reading session of the cases using reporting templates to help you navigate and write adequate reports. Participation in this fellowship with a reduced number of radiologists ensures a personal learning environment where you will enhance and strengthen your own and each other’s knowledge in structured Prostate MRI reading. If the fellowship has been successful it has provided you with knowledge that can help you address your normal clinical challenges, as well as future pursuits. At the end of the program you will be able to identify and report on Prostate cancer MRI in daily practice without difficulty.
