This data privacy declaration applies to the site at https://www.conference-service.com/ete-iii, which is used by the data controller to collect and process data for the "Educating the Educators III" event.

The processing of the logfile information is done mainly in order to establish the connection, to ensure system security and for reasons of technical administration.
The data controller collects personal information about the participants of the event. At a minimum, these data include the name, address and email address of the participants. Additional data might be requested, for instance to prepare the programme and proceedings of the event, as well as any social programme associated with the event. Registration and payment details needed for participation in the event might be collected too. This information is collected for legitimate interests within the meaning of Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f. DSGVO. Information will be retained until all processes related to the event are completed.
The personal data of participants will only be used for the specified purposes of registration and submission management. The personal data of presenters will be used for marketing and overall management of the conference and only to the extent required in order to achieve these purposes. Data will only be forwarded to third parties - if at all - within the limits of the statutory provisions. The transmission of personal data to government agencies and authorities shall be carried out only within the framework of mandatory law, or if the forwarding is required for purposes of legal or criminal prosecution in the event of abuse or fraud. Forwarding for other purposes - in particular address trading - is excluded.
This internet site might post links to the sites of other providers in order to be able to provide the users with comprehensive information. The controller does not have any influence on the design of such sites, and is not responsible for the content offered there. The principles of this Policy do not apply to these external sites.
We reserve the right to change and/or adapt our security and/or data protection measures in as far as this is necessary due to technical developments or changes in the law. Every person affected by the processing of personal data has the right, in accordance with the GDPR, to request information from the responsible body about his or her personal data stored.
