The Korea Institute for Advanced Study (KIAS) will be holding its 10th Workshop on Cosmology and Structure Formation from 24-28 October 2022. This fall, the JWST, a thirty-year-long project, will be commissioned for scientific observations. It is expected to provide a unique window to the unchartered universe after the first star formation. This biennial workshop aims to bring together experts in numerical, observational and theoretical cosmology and extragalactic astronomy to discuss the recent progress and future directions in the era of JWST. Topics to be discussed during the workshop include theoretical cosmology, cosmological observations, computational astrophysics, galaxy formation and evolution, gravitational lensing and artificial Intelligence (AI) application to various astrophysical problems. The conference will be held on campus at KIAS, in a vibrant suburb of Seoul close to the city center. Registration will close on 31 July, 2022.
