Résumé:
BDG Lifesciences formerly known as BioDiscovery Group is a CRO and expertise in Bioinformatics. We have been conducting Workshops since 2012 and till date, we have successfully trained hundreds of participants who were not only students but scientists, faculties, professor, company executives, etc from India as well as other countries. As we believe in a different way of learning which is HANDS ON PRACTICAL SESSIONS our workshops are unique because participants perform on their own computer/laptop on software/servers, so it is practical application of technology which is the main reason of our success where we have conducted 100+ workshops around the world on latest technologies of Bioinformatics especially Drug Discovery & Designing, MD Simulations & now on NGS Data Analysis and Gene & Genome Editing by CRISPR/Cas9. We are the first to launch the workshop and training course (Online & Onsite) on CRISPR/Cas 9 in May 2017 and since then did it successfully several times. On a huge demand from South-East Asia, we have launched Training course in Bangkok, Thailand on Next Generation Sequencing Data Analysis and Gene/Genome Editing by CRISPR/Cas9, ZFNs, TALENs. This will be our SECOND event in Bangkok and will be an extensive 2-day training program for which participants have to bring their own laptop having Windows/Mac/Linux OS so they can use for running the processes on their own computer systems- HANDS-ON with complete learning of Next Generation Sequencing Data Analysis. The course will be of great help to students/ researchers/ faculty/ scientists in learning this latest science and technology.

2019 IMB Conference “Chromosome Territories & Nuclear Architecture”
30 oct 2019 - 01 nov 2019 • Mainz, Allemagne
Résumé:
A fundamental property of genomes is their topological organisation in the 3D space of the cell nucleus. Methodological advances in microscopy and genomics have paved new ways for studying the genome architecture at unprecedented spatial resolution. Emerging evidence has uncovered basic principles of genome organisation and pointed to its key roles in gene expression, genome maintenance and human disease, yet, the genome structure-to-function relationship remains elusive. This three-day conference will bring together experts focusing on: (i) the mechanistic basis of chromatin interactions and structure, (ii) the recent advances in modeling chromosome organization and dynamics, and (iii) the contribution of nuclear organisation in health and disease.

Clinical NGS Data Analysis Nordic Workshop 2019
12 nov 2019 • Copenhagen, Danemark
Résumé:
This year, our annual Clinical NGS Data Analysis Nordic Workshop, led by the Bioinformatics team of Odense University Hospital (OUH), will take place in Copenhagen. The workshop will aim to go over the steps from acquisition of sequencing data to the generation of the bam- and vcf- files that will be used in the subsequent filtering for variants. Variants will be evaluated using various databases and prediction tools to establish potential pathogenic variants. Workshop delegates will be given tutorials and examples and will be expected to handle the data themselves on their own laptops. This workshop will be hands-on, so all delegates will need to bring their own laptop. Full laptop requirements are Java 7 or 8, 4GB RAM and 10 GB of free hard disc space, Microsoft Excel and Internet access (WiFi will be provided at the venue).

Chromosomes: Organization, Function and Dynamics
22 jui 2020 - 25 jui 2020 • UC Santa Barbara, États-Unis
Résumé:
Continuing rapid development in the field of chromatin biology has lately attracted enormous interest among biologists, physicists and mathematicians. Recently, the static structure of the folded genome inside the cell nucleus has been determined with increasingly high resolution. Special features of genome folding, such as loops, A/B compartments and chromosome territories, were identified and have inspired models rooted in polymer physics. Studies of the roles of these features in gene regulation and other biological processes are currently ongoing. In addition, research on chromatin dynamics has shown that the genome moves in space and time, thus these structural features might be dynamic, too. Currently, it is not clear how to reconcile the static picture with the dynamic nature of the genome. Following the recent surge in activity on both the biology and physics fronts, this conference aims to provide a platform that would facilitate an interdisciplinary exchange, cultivate new ideas and identify new frontiers.

26th International Conference on DNA Computing and Molecular Programming
13 sep 2020 - 18 sep 2020 • University of Oxford, Royaume-Uni
Organisateur:
Institute of Physics – IOP
Résumé:
Biomolecular computing has emerged as an interdisciplinary field that draws together molecular biology, chemistry, computer science and mathematics. Our knowledge on DNA nanotechnology and biomolecular computing increases exponentially with every passing year. The annual international meeting in the field began in 1995 right after the landmark work by L. Adleman, who solved an instance of the Hamiltonian path problem by DNA molecules and opened the door to this new field. Since then, the meeting has been a forum where scientists with different backgrounds, yet sharing a common interest in biomolecular computing meet, and present their latest results.

Biomolecular Topology: Modelling and Data Analysis
05 avr 2021 - 09 avr 2021 • Singapore, Singapour
Organisateur:
Institute for Mathematical Sciences/National University of Singapore
Résumé:
The program's primary aim is to establish the foundation of the new interdisciplinary subject Biomolecular Topology. The goal is to foster new research in biomolecular topology and promote transformative topological techniques by bringing together experts from geometric topology, algebraic topology, combinatorial topology, computational topology, and topological data analysis to tackle fundamental biological challenges. The expectation is that the program will harness existing connections between mathematics and biology and create new ones.
