IUPAP (International Union of Pure and Applied Physics)

The 22nd International Conference on Magnetism (ICM2024) will be held in Bologna, Italy, June 30 – July 5, 2024. ICM is the largest conference of the magnetism community worldwide and is associated to IUPAP (International Union of Pure and Applied Physics) and its group C9-Magnetism. It covers the whole area of magnetism, from fundamental research to advanced applications.

The 22nd International Conference on Magnetism (ICM2024) will be held in Bologna, Italy, June 30 – July 5, 2024. ICM is the largest conference of the magnetism community worldwide and is associated to IUPAP (International Union of Pure and Applied Physics) and its group C9-Magnetism. It covers the whole area of magnetism, from fundamental research to advanced applications.

ICM2024 continues a series of conferences held every three years, most recently in San Francisco (2018), Barcelona (2015) and Busan (2012). The cancellation of ICM2021 in Shanghai due to the worldwide pandemic was an extraordinarily unfortunate event, which we all hope will never repeat. This interruption makes ICM2024 all the more important – the organizers hope to relaunch the ICM-series and expect that more than 2,000 scientists from all over the world will travel to Bologna to attend the conference in person.

The ICMFS2024 is a satellite conference to the 22nd International Conference on Magnetism to be held from June 30 to July 5 2024 in Bologna, Italy, just 237 km north of Perugia (www.icm2024.org). The ICMFS2024 continues the tradition of previous Colloquia, which started in 1964 in London, UK. This is the first time the Conference is held in Italy. Pursuing the idea of free circulation of scientists, the ICMFS2024 will bring together scientists from all areas of magnetism in lower dimensions. The Colloquium aims at the exchange of new results and ideas for advancing the field of magnetism at surfaces, interfaces, in micro- and nanostructures as well as of spin-dependent phenomena.

COMPUMAG 2025, the 24th International Conference on the Computation of Electromagnetic Fields, will be held in Naples, Italy, from June 22 to 25, 2025. It is co-organized by 9 teams from the Italian community of Computational Electromagnetism. The conference venue is the Hotel Royal Continental, located in the heart of Naples. Since its creation in 1976, COMPUMAG has been one of the most important events in the field of computational electromagnetics for researchers all over the world to present their latest research advances, to share professional experiences, to exchange new ideas and to expand their professional networks.
