Spin Caloritronics XIII will be co-organized by Kavli Institute for Theoretical Sciences (UCAS) and State Key Laboratary of Surface Science (Fudan University).

Spin caloritronics encompasses the study of coupled spin, charge, and heat transport in condensed materials and devices. As a multidisciplinary field that intersects with spintronics, thermoelectrics, optics, mechanics, and information science, it explores the fascinating connections between these domains.

MORIS (Magnetics and Optics Research International Symposium) is the world's leading forum for discussions on fundamental and applied research in the area of magnetic, magneto-optical, and thermo-magnetic phenomena, materials, and devices. It highlights recent trends extending toward ultrafast dynamics, magnetic recording, and their interconnections.

The aim of the Transnational Round Table on Magnonics, High-Frequency Spintronics, and Ultrafast Magnetism (TRTM) is to offer an inclusive platform for efficient exchange of ideas, knowledge, and expertise in an open-science format that stimulates community building, inter-community dialogue, and cooperative approach to research pathfinding and responsible innovation both within the involved topics and beyond their disciplinary boundaries; lowers barriers for participation related to one's career stage and availability of funding; removes barriers for participation related to irrelevant individual differences.

The first TRTM, i.e. TRTM 2024, is an experiment and bears some risks, as any new beginning. Yet, we hope it will evolve into a conference format that will complement those of traditional academic meetings. The Sol-SkyMag is an abbreviation from Solitons and Skyrmion Magnetism, but the scope of the conference is essentially wider. The Sol-SkyMag conference serves to assess the status, recent progress, and development in the field of nanomagnetism and spintronics. The conference will provide an international forum to discuss recent progress and trends in the field and to identify potential future collaborations. ICM2024 continues a series of conferences held every three years, most recently in San Francisco (2018), Barcelona (2015) and Busan (2012). The cancellation of ICM2021 in Shanghai due to the worldwide pandemic was an extraordinarily unfortunate event, which we all hope will never repeat. This interruption makes ICM2024 all the more important – the organizers hope to relaunch the ICM-series and expect that more than 2,000 scientists from all over the world will travel to Bologna to attend the conference in person.

The ICMFS2024 is a satellite conference to the 22nd International Conference on Magnetism to be held from June 30 to July 5 2024 in Bologna, Italy, just 237 km north of Perugia (www.icm2024.org). The ICMFS2024 continues the tradition of previous Colloquia, which started in 1964 in London, UK. This is the first time the Conference is held in Italy. Pursuing the idea of free circulation of scientists, the ICMFS2024 will bring together scientists from all areas of magnetism in lower dimensions. The Colloquium aims at the exchange of new results and ideas for advancing the field of magnetism at surfaces, interfaces, in micro- and nanostructures as well as of spin-dependent phenomena.

LEEM-PEEM is a biennial meeting reviewing the status of surface microscopies that employ low energy electrons. The meeting promotes and disseminates applications of surface microscopies such as LEEM, PEEM, SPLEEM, SPELEEM, XPEEM and related techniques to a broad audience of interested scientists. The workshop highlights the most recent scientific advances as well as instrumental developments. Topics will cover surfaces, thin films, organic films, surface chemistry, magnetism, time resolved methods, instrumental advances and novel applications of LEEM and PEEM to other subject areas.
