	abstract: The aim of the Trimester COMBINATORICS and CONTROL 2010 is to accelerate the innovation at the interface of algebraic combinatorics, geometric control theory, and geometric numerical integration. The common focus is the role of combinatorial Hopf algebras, which in control build on functional expansions such as Fliess series, and the chronological calculus, extending classical Lie theory. The trimester is a sequel of events including a school at Centro de Ciencias de Benasque Pedro Pascual (http://benasque.org/2010control/ ) which address this theme at various levels.
